1. Information We Collect

• Location data: GPS coordinates used to fetch local weather data and deliver location-based alerts. Your coordinates are sent to our server only to retrieve relevant data and are not retained in identifiable form.
• Device token: An anonymous push notification token assigned by Apple or Google, used solely to deliver weather alerts you have opted into. This token is stored on our servers and tied to your saved locations.
• Subscription data: Purchase and subscription status managed by RevenueCat. We receive only anonymous subscriber identifiers and entitlement status — not your payment details.
• Usage data: Anonymous crash reports and error logs to improve app stability. No personally identifiable information is included.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide real-time weather data, radar imagery, and atmospheric alerts relevant to your location.
• To send push notifications for weather events you have chosen to be alerted about.
• To manage your subscription status and grant access to premium features.
• To diagnose and fix technical issues in the App.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• RevenueCat: For subscription management. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
• Apple / Google: For push notification delivery and payment processing.
• Public weather APIs: NOAA, NWS, NASA, EPA — your coordinates are sent to retrieve data; these are public government services.

4. Data Retention

Device push tokens and associated location preferences are retained for up to 30 days after your last app activity, after which they are automatically deleted. You may delete your data at any time by removing all saved locations and revoking notification permissions in the App.

5. Children's Privacy

NOWA is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Your push token and location data are stored in a secured database accessible only to the NOWA service.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us through the App's feedback feature. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
